Sand Flatts Recreation Area is 7,320 acres of rock domes, bowls, and fins set in the majestic beauty of a high plain. Visitors to the area can enjoy views of the LaSal Mountains to the south, and the Negro Bill and Mill Creek Wilderness Areas to the east and west. The park is famous for it's "Slickrock" that allows both bikers and hikers to a challenging terrain through the park. IN addition, BMX bikes and jeeps are allowed on some of the trails and 120 spots are available for camping.

Day-use passes is good for 3 days. Car - $5, bike - $2, and shuttle/van - $2 per person.
