If you're looking for a casual and friendly place with good food, you'll like Buck's Grill House. After a day of site seeing through Arches National Park, Buck's offered a variety of dishes for hungry hikers. The wait for seating n the restaurant was 1 1/2 hours, yet we were able to be seated immediately in the "private club". A membership fee was required, but it was deducted from our dinner bill. The club had just opened, so the decor was a little sparse, but what was lacking in atmosphere was made up for by the friendly staff, great service, and delicious food. If you like southwest cooking, try the Carne Rojio - a dish of spicy (not too hot), slow-cooked beef folded into crepes, layed over ranch-style beans and cilantro rice. Mmm, mmm, good! And the green salad with the chile-lime dressing was delicious. The T-bone steak was also great - cooked as ordered. We enjoyed the widely spaced booths and tables, and the unhurried, relaxed feeling of the club. We'll definitely go back whenever in Moab, UT.
